CHS Seniors Raise Money for the Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund

On October 12, 2022 Catholic High of Pointe Coupee Seniors, Gracie Gunter and Landon Frey, donated $2159 dollars to the Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund. They presented the money they raised from their senior project to Jeremy LaCombe, Louisiana State Representative and son of Janell LaCombe, at this year’s annual Cancer Survivors Luncheon. These two high school seniors make all of Pointe Coupee Parish proud by raising this donation for their senior project this year. They were successful at raising this donation with the help of their classmates who participated and the attendees who paid to watch a powderpuff football game at their school where the junior girls played the senior girls. Both Gracie and Landon have had family members who have had cancer or passed from cancer which drove them want to help those fighting cancer right here at home. By donating to the Janell LaCombe Fund, this charitable donation will stay within our parish.

The Pointe Coupee Health Services Foundation (501©3) would like to thank them for raising money for this specific fund. Those who wish to donate to the Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund may do so via our website at PCHHH.org or stop in at Pointe Coupee Homebound Health and Hospice (350 Hospital Road).
