Pointe Coupee Homebound Health Services has been providing professional home health care to residents of Pointe Coupee Parish and parts of Iberville, Avoyelles, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana parishes for over 40 years.
Pointe Coupee Hospice is a dedicated local hospice agency, established in 2001, and covering the same service areas. Pointe Coupee Hospice has easy accessibility to these areas allowing for more efficient patient care.
Both agencies are Medicare and Medicaid certified and service many private insurances policy holders.
Pointe Coupee Homebound Health has been serving the citizens of Pointe Coupee and surrounding areas for over 40 years. We have a proven record of success. Pointe Coupee Homebound Health has also been named a 2017 HHCAHPS Honors recipient, a prestigious award recognizing home health agencies that continuously provide quality care as measured from the patient’s point of view.
Our staff is highly professional and provides service above and beyond what is required. Pointe Coupee Homebound Health Services provides Nursing Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Worker services, and Personal Care Attendant services for patients with a wide variety of illnesses and conditions.
We work with patients and families with end of life issues offering comforting and compassionate care. Hospice care is not limited to the home but may also be provided in the nursing home as well as the hospital.
The Pointe Coupee Nutrition Program provides a complete education/training experience based on the needs of the patient and the recommendations of the physician. We have a Registered and Licensed Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator available by appointment.

Created by the board of directors of Pointe Coupee General Hospital in conjunction with Pointe Coupee Homebound Health Services and Pointe Coupee Hospice, these funds help sustain our goals.
