STEM Magnet Academy Supports the Janell LaCombe Fund

11/22/2021 New Roads, LA- STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee held a free dress to support the Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund. This free dress helped to earn $834 for the school to donate to the Janell LaCombe Fund. We are thrilled to receive such a grateful donation from the students at STEM Academy to help our community members who are fighting cancer. We would like to offer the most sincere thanks to all of the students and facility at STEM Magnet Academy for their donation and giving back to their community.

The Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund is a specific fund in the Pointe Coupee Health Services Foundation which assists clients with up to $200 per month with unreimbursed and unmet needs related to a cancer diagnosis. From its inception, the foundation has had a successful working partnership with the Janell Legier LaCombe Memorial Fun, Nell’s Angels. The memorial fund is a tribute to the late Janell Legier LaCombe allowing her family to give back to assist those in need, in the same way Janell did during her lifetime. Janell’s generous heart continues through her family’s dedication to keeping her spirit of giving alive.

The Pointe Coupee Health Service Foundation would not be able to serve the community to the extent that it does without the generous donations from this memorial fund. If you would like more information about the Janell LaCombe Memorial Fund please contact our office at 225-638-5717 or stop by our office Pointe Coupee Homebound Health and Hospice, 350 Hospital Road, New Roads, LA 70760. Donations to the Janell LaCombe Fund can easily be made via our website PCHHH.org.

Remember that donations can be made to our specific funds in memory of a loved one or as a gift in a family members name around the holidays. Thanks for your support of our local home health and hospice agency. We’re not just your healthcare professionals….We’re your neighbors!
